SLU-PP-332

SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic pan-agonist of the estrogen-related receptors ERR-alpha, ERR-beta, and ERR-gamma. These are orphan nuclear receptors that sit on the transcriptional side of energy metabolism, regulating mitochondrial and oxidative gene programs rather than the appetite signaling the GLP-1 class acts on. That difference in mechanism is why it appears in metabolic research as a comparator to the incretin compounds rather than a member of the same family.
